I noticed in many artists page that there’s a box with music and all that and saw there was a download link, does the download button take you to the Artist’s actual website where you have to go by what the site is charging, or do the downloads come from Myspace itself? Is downloading music off of Myspace free? Yes, No, why?

Yes it is free if you download it from their profile
but only when they let you download it
they rarely let you download it, and they are available for a short period of time.
